Mike’s House of Horrors will be back at the Cleveland ComicCon again this year! This two day show takes place October 14th and 15th at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Last year was an awesome show and this year promises to be just as good. Two buildings packed full of vendors, artists, and special guests. This is one of the premier conventions in the area! Don’t miss it.

Happy HorrorDays!

So the Christmas season is upon us and everyone is going around with visions of sugarplums in their heads. While eagerly waiting for the jolly old elf in the red suit to visit (and trying to remember if you’ve moved the Elf on the Shelf today), you’re probably thinking “But Mike, how can there be anything horrific associated with Christmas?”

Well, you’ve probably never heard of Krampus.

Everyone knows that Santa Claus leaves presents for good little boys and girls, but what do the kids on the Naughty List get? Not just a lump of coal in their stockings!

Old Germanic stories tell of the Krampus – a tall, dark, hairy figure with cloven hooves and goat horns and a lolling tongue and fangs. The Krampus travells around thrashing chains and looking for the bad little boys and girls. When he finds one, he gives them a sound beating with a stick if they’re lucky. If they’ve been particularly naughty, he pops them in a sack and carries them off to be either drowned, eaten, or taken straight to Hell.

Kinda gives new meaning to “You better be good for goodness sake”!

It’s Alive!!

It’s still rough around the edges, but you are looking at the next step for Mike’s House of Horrors.

What started off as a one-off chance weekend at a small convention has now grown to a full-fledged web store, large multi-day shows, and a book in the works.
